Cookie policy

This site stores very little in your browser, and nothing for advertising. There is no consent banner because everything below is strictly necessary to make the site work, which under article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 does not require consent. It does require telling you about it, which is what this page is for.

What we store

Your session (cookie)

When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) stores a session cookie so the site knows it is you on the next page. It is removed when you sign out and expires on its own. Without it you cannot have an account, an order history or a saved address.

Sign-in security (cookie, temporary)

While you are signing in or opening a link we emailed you, a short-lived cookie holds the one-time verifier that proves the request came from your browser. It disappears as soon as the sign-in finishes.

Your shopping bag (local storage)

The items you add are kept in your browser's local storage under ovalo-cart-v2, so the bag survives a refresh. It never leaves your device until you place an order. Clearing your browser data empties the bag.

Audience measurement, without cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: it derives an anonymous, daily identifier from technical data such as your IP address and browser. We use it only to see which pages are visited, never to profile you or to follow you across other websites. We have configured it so that page addresses are sent without their query string, so nothing identifying travels with them. More detail in the privacy policy.

How to remove it

Every browser lets you delete cookies and site data, and block them per site. Look for "Privacy" or "Site settings". Bear in mind the consequences here: with cookies blocked you will not be able to stay signed in, and with local storage blocked your shopping bag will empty every time you reload.

Changes

If we ever add anything that does require consent — an advertising pixel, for instance — we will ask you before loading it, and this page will say so first.
